Cedar Bluff Reservoir, State Park, & Wildlife Area

Discover the 6,000 acre lake and almost 9,000 acres of adjacent wildlife area which make up Cedar Bluff, a mecca for outdoor enthusiasts.

The 150-foot tall, cedar covered, limestone bluffs, rising along the south side of the reservoir, provide a stunning, rustic setting for park visitors and a drive to the top of the bluffs offers a breath-taking view of the area. Fishermen are drawn to Cedar Bluff's excellent angling opportunities, especially wipers, white bass, and catfish. Plus rainbow trout are stocked in the stilling basin in the spring and fall. Boating, water skiing, wind surfing, and swimming can all be enjoyed by park visitors.

Cedar Bluff State Park provides an excellent base camp for anglers, hunters, and year-round explorers. With 121 utility sites and a group campground consisting of 12 utility sites, and large areas set aside for non-designated primitive camping, the park comes built to suit nearly any taste. If you're tired of setting up the tent or leveling the RV, check out the primitive and modern cabins for rent. The area around the park offers excellent wildlife viewing and hunting opportunities, especially whitetail deer, pheasant, turkey, dove, geese and duck. Nature enthusiasts will enjoy the new hiking and biking trails as well.
